Arthur Ave, an Italian restaurant in the Heights is closing their doors after having just opened them last year.
According to an article on Patch.com the restaurant received great reviews when it first opened. Arthur Ave aimed to recreate the experience of dining on Arthur Avenue in the Bronx.
Although, like most new restaurants in Houston, Arthur Ave started out with much enthusiasm and high expectations, the restaurant was unable to keep up the pace.
They will officially close up shop next Sunday, March 19th, and will make way for Helen Greek Food and Wine.
As a result of the closure, Arthur Ave will be serving all wine for 50% off.
If you are a fan, or just want to try them before they leave, this week is not only the last chance, but the best time to dine at Arthur Ave.
