Friends of Woodland Park
Light the Night, presented by Friends of Woodland Park, will held April 29, from 7-9:30 p.m. at Woodland Park, 212 Parkview St. All proceeds from this free, family-friendly event will go towards Firefly Field, a sculpture by Dylan Conner. On tour from the Czech Republic, Stribrnanka will perform April 29, at the SPJST Lodge 88, 1435 Beall St. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., dinner will be served at 5 p.m., followed by the 7 p.m. performance and dance. Judge Jay Karahan, Harris County Criminal Court at Law No. 8, will be the guest speaker for May.
