The Shepherd Forest Civic Club will be holding their Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Bunny visit 10 a.m. Saturday, April 8. The event will be held at Stonecrest Park located on East T.C. Houston Crush Baseball and Houston Eagles Independent are doing a service project on April 15 from 9 a.m.-noon at the Independence Heights Baseball Field, 501 E. 35th St. Proceeds will benefit HCB and the Independence Heights Redevelopment District. The Crushers will be selling water at 610 and Ella on April 8 from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. to begin their drive to get to the World Series this summer.
