The White Oak Bayou Association will hold its White Oak Bayou Fish Off Contest, June 2, in partnership with the Friends of Woodland Park’s Happy Trails and Hot Dogs Day. The event at Woodland Park, 212 Parkview, will take advantage of Texas Parks and Wildlife’s Free Fishing Day (no licenses required). Fish-Off registration will be from 8-11 a.m., followed by the Happy Trails and Hot Dogs held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. The cost for fishing contest is a suggested $5 per family/group donation, or free with a White Oak Bayou Association annual membership.
