Come out May 19, and be a part of the annual Tour de Oak Forest sponsored by Oak Forest Veterinary Hospital. Participants can register online or the day of the event starting at 8 a.m. The ride will be from 9:30-11 a.m. and is approximately 10 miles. Food trucks will be available for breakfast and lunch. WOOD WINDOW WORKSHOP
The Wood Window Workshop hosted by AIA Houston is from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. May 19 and 20, at The Church, 1548 Heights Blvd. This exciting wood window workshop will be led by a respected preservationist and craftsman, Steve Quillian. MOVIE NIGHT/SOFTBALL GAME
Councilmember Brenda Stardig presents Movie Nights showing The Sandlot. The event kicks off with Battle of the Branch softball game with Houston Police vs. Houston Fire from 6:45-7:45 p.m. May 19, followed by the 8:15 p.m. movie. Skyline District Sam Houston Area Council
Cub Scouts can learn new skills and make new friends at Twilight camp, open to Scouts entering 1st through 5th grade for the 2018-2019 school year.
