There is a director staff of three – Jackson, Executive Director and founder Erica Raggett, and Operations Director Brooke Evans who all operate under the leadership of a board of directors. “While none of us have personally dealt with the direct effects … [Read more...] about Changing lives one coffee cup, meal at a time
Fueling is second-nature to many; often acting simply as a minor pit stop. But neighborhood growth has led to an influx of filling stations along North Shepherd, T.C. Jester, and other local roads in recent years – which has been striking to some, but a non-issue for others. Just between Durham from just south of Loop 610 up North Shepherd to West Tidwell (five miles), three Shell stations and a Gulf Station take up residence. Up and down T.C. I am honored to introduce you to three of our local neighbors, savvy businesswomen who share a burning passion and the common goal of opening GiGi’s Playhouse Houston in order to bring this fantastic, life-giving community to Houston’s individuals with Down syndrome. In addition to loving and supporting their own children born with Down Syndrome, Amy McDonald, Amanda Kreshover and Kristal Casey are moving forward with excitement, spreading the word about GiGi’s Playhouse and searching for a location to house GiGi’s Playhouse Houston. There is a GiGi’s Playhouse in Sugarland, but the location is not convenient, to say the least, for families in Central and North Houston.
