Chris Huang, who owns Ninja Ramen on Washington Street, tells The Leader he will open the Flying Pho in Ella Plaza. It will take the place of recently vacated Toasted.
Huang says that the menu at the new restaurant, expected to open in December, will be “super simple” – with Pho, egg rolls and pastries. The Pho will be a northern style Pho, which is different from other restaurants in Houston which serve a southern variety of the beef noodle soup.
The best part – Huang will deliver until 2 a.m., with restaurant service until midnight. For more on his restaurant – including his plans for “hangover hour” supplies and deliveries, see this week’s Leader.
