Mary Lois Hayes, 92, born July 19, 1924, died June 16.
José Matilde Oxi, 79, born March 13, 1938 in San José Poaquil, Guatemala, died June 9. He was employed at River Oaks Chrysler for 18 years and the City of Houston Parks and Recreation for 22 years. Oxi married his wife Rufina in 1972. Survivors include his wife Rufina, his children María T. Arellano, Pete Oxi and José Leon Oxi, and three grandchildren.
Gregory Paul Petrash, 60, born Oct. 5, 1956, died June 9. He graduated from James Madison High School in Houston, and fulfilled his patriotic duty in 1976 when he enlisted in U.S. Navy. Petrash attended Great Lakes Naval School to train as an Operations Specialist and served on the USS Lawrence out of Norfolk, Va. After his honorable discharge, he remained in the Naval Reserve. Survivors include his mother, Sarah Ella Petrash, sisters Judith Ann Inclan and Angela Marie Petrash, wife Pamela S. Petrash, daughter Shannon Elisabeth Petrash, son Andrew Brian Petrash, and a grandson.
Gladys Marie Naski Stulken, 85, born Dec. 15, 1931, died June 16. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church. She is survived by her sister, Bernice Naski, children Sherry and Warren Lee Smith, Michael and Charylann Naski, and Susan and Bob Blevins, four grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Norman Walker, 86, born June 28, 1930, died May 24. He was the founder of A-1 A/C Appliance Center. A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, 6622 Haskell St. 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 29. In lieu of flowers, please tithe in Norman’s honor.
Rosalie Williams, 74, of Houston, TX passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2017. She is survived by son James Parr, three grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren and brothers Travis Harris and Ray Harris. Rosalie was a member of Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church.
Albert Zahn, 81, born July 27, 1935, died May 16.
