For The Leader
Say hello to Presidio, a new southern style restaurant and bar in the Heights that opened this past weekend. While having undergone a complete makeover, Presidio is taking the space of what used to be JavaJava, on 11th Street.
According to a Houston Chronicle report Presidio is meant to be a casual yet happening place for locals and out of towners. Per the report, the menu was crafted by the locally renowned chef Adam Dorris, the former executive chef for Pax Americana. Dorris created the menu based on the food his Dad loved while they were living in Oklahoma.
If you are interested in getting a taste of Presidio, they open at 10 a.m. every morning and close at 10 p.m. on Sunday; midnight on Monday through Thursday; 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
Presidio is located at 911 W. 11 St
