Heights historic farmers market transformation
A new plan to transform the Houston Farmers Market into a shopping and dining space, was recently released by MLB Capitol Partners. According to CultureMap, they are aiming to revitalize the space into a destination retail experience, while offering a variety of products. Additions will include a fish monger, children’s play area, and restaurant.
The construction will also provide the space with climate-controlled areas, shaded markets, and extra seating areas. The project will begin this spring and is tentatively set to finish by 2019.
