Crawfish lovers in the area can soon get their fix in the Heights.
The Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Crawfish Festival from 10:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday, March 7 at 411 W. 20th St. behind the Heights Floral Shop.
In addition to mudbugs, event goers also can enjoy corn and potatoes and other menu items along with beer, water and soft drinks. There also will be live music from The Zydeco Dots.
For anyone looking to walk off the crawfish intake, there will be vendor booths around the festival selling jewelry, clothing, art and more. There also will be face painting, games, activities and more for the kids.
Parking for the festival, which is open to the public, will be available in the Heights Medical Tower Parking Garage for $20.
For more information on the event or to register, reach out to the chamber at 713-865-6735 or email@example.com.
