The men who robbed an area watering hole early Sunday morning remain at large, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD spokesperson Jodi Silva said Monday that three black men brandishing pistols entered NJ’s, a bar at 3815 Mangum Rd., at approximately 1:25 a.m. Sunday. Two of the suspects jumped over the bar and demanded cash from the bartender, while the third demanded cash from patrons.
Silva said the men fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, taking money and the cell phone of another bar customer who was sitting outside on their way out.
Another HPD spokesman said Tuesday morning that no arrests had been made and the case remains active.
The NJ’s bartender working Monday afternoon declined comment.
