Raymundo, 18, and another suspect in the incident, 17-year-old Angelique Pina, are both wanted by HPD. Pina had previously been charged with tampering with evidence in the 178th State District Court.
HPD officers found Raymundo and Alexis Villa-Gomez, 18, shot in a breezeway of the apartment complex when they responded to a call at 3233 Mangum Rd. on the night of Jan. 22. According to HPD, the men told officers they were involved in an altercation with an unknown suspect who shot them and then fled the scene. Raymundo and Villa-Gomez were then transported to an area hospital in stable condition.
HPD said further investigation led to felony charges being filed against Pina and Raymundo. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is encouraged to call HPD at 713-308-8800 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
