Grocery Store Update
Many have been asking about the timetable for the arrival of ALDI to Garden Oaks Shopping Center since there have been no signs of buildout. ALDI Rosenberg division vice president Karla Waddleton said that the upcoming ALDI store on North Shepherd Drive in Houston is set to open in late 2019.
Daniel Balcazar, who is the senior marketing director for El Rancho Supermercado, said that the supermarket will open at 5264 W. 34th St. on Oct. 3, pushed back from an earlier estimate of Sept. 19. The opening day will be a Wednesday and Balcazar said that there are a lot of special things planned.
