Heights Garden Club
This month’s tour will be at Dee Melancon’s garden. This garden has seen several re-dos from the last two years of freezing temperatures. It went from very tropical to more cold hardy plants. THE TWILIGHT OF THE GOLDS
A family, a pregnancy, and a revealing pre-natal test. If your parents knew everything about you before you were born, would you be here? That is the question posed in Jonathan Tollin’s controversial dramedy, “The Twilight of the Golds.” The show runs through May 12, with Friday and Saturday performances at 8:30 p.m. at Theatre Suburbia, 4106 Way Out West. TOUR DE OAK FOREST

Come out May 19, and be a part of the annual Tour de Oak Forest sponsored by Oak Forest Veterinary Hospital. Participants can register online or the day of the event starting at 8 a.m. The ride will be from 9:30-11 a.m. and is approximately 10 miles. Food trucks will be available. WOOD WINDOW WORKSHOP
The Wood Window Workshop hosted by AIA Houston is from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. May 19 and 20, at The Church, 1548 Heights Blvd. This exciting wood window workshop will be led by a respected preservationist and craftsman, Steve Quillian. Skyline District Sam Houston Area Council
Cub Scouts can learn new skills and make new friends at Twilight camp, open to Scouts entering 1st through 5th grade for the 2018-19 school year. The camp will be from 5:30-8:45 p.m. June 11-14, at KC Hall, 607 E.
