HEIGHTS ROTARY BOOK SALE

The community is welcome to come out to the annual Heights Rotary Book Sale, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13. The sale will be at Heights Neighborhood Library, 1302 Heights Blvd.
Theatre Suburbia presents Ripcord by David Lindsay-Abaire. Set at the Bristol Place Senior Living Facility in suburban New Jersey, the show follows the infuriatingly chipper Marilyn and the cantankerous Abbey as they are forced to share the same room. The show runs through Oct. 13, Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:30 p.m. at Theatre Suburbia, 4106 Way Out West. Tickets are $18 adults, $15 students and seniors, and $16 Sunday matinees. The Frank Black Middle School PTO kicked off its fall fundraiser, Football, Foam and FUN. Money raised will go directly to help students, teachers and the school. This is one of the most popular support group activities. The Waltrip High School Class of 1988 will be having their 30 year reunion at 1 p.m. Nov. 3, at the Waltrip High School Homecoming Game at Delmar Stadium, 2020 Mangum Rd.
