Police are investigating a shooting in Independence Heights that put two men in the hospital last week.
The two victims, both 32 years old, were taken to an area hospital and were expected to survive, according to the Houston Police Department.
HPD said officers responded to a shooting call at 500 Neyland St. around 5:50 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8. Both victims, police said, were standing in front of a home when a black, four-door car approached and someone in the vehicle fired at both victims before fleeing the scene.
There are no known motives or suspects in the ongoing investigation, according to HPD.
