Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s latest executive order allows for restaurants to open their dining rooms with maximum building occupancy set at 25 percent. While some area restaurants have decided to continue operating only with delivery and takeout services, others will be making the jump on Friday.
Verdine, the all-vegan restaurant located at 449 W. 19th St., will reopen its dining room with limited seating from 5-8 p.m. To be able to maintain the proper capacity, Verdine is only accepting reservations for dine-in. To-go operations will continue.
Local Foods, 714 Yale St., and Dish Society, 1050 Yale St., also have decided to reopen with minimum patio seating, and 1751 Sear and Bar, 191 Heights Blvd., will reopen with limited capacity and a limited menu.
BCK opens with to-go
BCK, 933 Studewood St., has been temporarily closed since March 23. On Monday, the restaurant will reopen for to-go service.
