Police are searching for a man suspected of buglarizing a Garden Oaks home last weekend.
According to a release from the Harris County Precinct 1 Constable’s Office, deputies responded to a call in the 200 block of West 34th Street Sunday to find out that an area woman had her home burglarized Saturday night.
The homeowner said she saw a suspicious male claiming to be part of a tree-trimming service in her backyard Saturday. After speaking with the man, the release said the woman walked back inside and noticed her bedroom had been rummaged through and a small, two-drawer metal filing cabinet had been forced open and also rummaged through.
It remains unclear if any items were taken from the woman’s home. The suspect’s whereabouts are unknown.
