The Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Economic Forecast Luncheon from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 30 at the Sheraton Houston Brookhollow Hotel, located at 3000 N Loop W.
This year’s featured speaker will be Bill Gilmer, the Director of the Institute for Regional Forecasting at the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business. He will address the implications within the Houston region of the ramping down on new and expanded chemical plant investments that have been completed along the Houston Ship Channel, which has a direct bearing on local employment.
Individual tickets to the event are $75 for chamber members and $95 for non-members. Sponsorships, which include a table of eight, also are available for $2,500, $1,100 and $575.
