Five festive homes in the Heights will be showcased next weekend during the 30th Annual Houston Heights Association Holiday Home Tour.
According to a Facebook post by the Houston Heights Association, this year’s tour is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 and 3-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 and will feature a restored Victorian home, a quirky original cottage and three renovated craftsman bungalows. They are the Deisch home at 525 W. 18th St., the Kirksey home at 1133 Arlington St., Sara’s Bed and Breakfast Inn at 941 Heights Blvd., the Starr home at 1811 Harvard St. and the Wright home at 440 Heights Blvd.
“We are so proud of this year’s selections,” Andrea Hellyer, chairperson of the holiday home tour, said in the Facebook post. “These are truly the type of homes you see and immediately think, ‘I wonder what it looks like inside,’ which is exactly why we are so pleased the homeowners agreed to participate.”
Tickets are $25 and available online at http://stores.houstonheightsstore.org/products.php. They can be picked up on either day of the tour at the Heights Fire Station, 107 W. 12th St. Shuttles to and from the homes also will be available at the fire station.
