Area residents can donate once per week as part of the effort, which helps supply the Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center during the COVID-19 pandemic. Donation events are held at the Heights Fire Station at 107 W. 12th St., and each donor will receive a free COVID-19 antibody test along with a coupon for a free pint of Blue Bell ice cream.
