A representative for 2525 North Loop LLC said construction will start in the next 6-12 months on a two-story multipurpose building in the middle of the existing parking lot. Retail, restaurants and office space is planned for the structure.
The same company is also working on a rehab of an existing office building at 10050 Northwest Freeway to offer medical space on the first floor and other office space on the second and third floors.
Heights Central Station continues to take shape
Shine in the Heights salon is now open at Heights Central Station, according to Glenn Clements, who developed the property. He said the Kolache Shoppe is planning a soft opening this week, including its drive through. Dish Society should be open next month.
“Ike’s Love and Sandwiches has signed a lease for the endcap at 1051 Heights Blvd. in the HCS and is working on building permits now,” Clements said.

Muscle Maker Grill, which had replaced Krisp Bird & Batter, and is now open for business.
Tough Mudder opening gym in Heights
Tough Mudder was founded in 2010 by Will Dean and has only 15 locations, including one that will open this month at 1910 Taylor St. in Sawyer Heights.
