Golden Youth trip at St. Ambrose
The Golden Youth Club will be taking a bus trip to enjoy dinner and a play Friday, Aug. 10. The bus will leave the church at 5:15 p.m. and will start with dinner at Tia Maria’s (dutch treat).
At Theater Suburbia, watch the play “She Was Only Marginally Modest or Have You No Shame.” The classic melodrama is wonderfully entertaining and the audience gets to boo and hiss at the villian.

75th Jubilee at St. Matthew’s

Board of Outreach to hold garage sale at Advent Lutheran
The Board of Outreach at Advent Lutheran Church is once again sponsoring a community garage sale from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 18. This event will be in the cool comfort of the Advent Life Center.
There will be a healing service at 5 p.m. Aug. 19, in the church sanctuary. In addition, there will be songs for a deep meditative connection with God and a teaching about the spiritual gifts that some have for this ministry.

‘The Faith We Sing’ sermon series at St. Stephen’s
The sermon series, “The Faith We Sing” will continue through Sunday, Aug. 19, at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. worship services. The series features messages inspired by songs and hymns that are close to the heart.

The Guadalupanas will hold their garage sale in the parish hall Aug. 25 and Aug. 26.
Garage sale donations will be accepted from 4-6 p.m. Aug. 18; after every Mass Aug. 19; and Wednesday, Aug. 22 through Friday, Aug. 24, from 4-6 p.m. in the parish hall.
