Messy Church at St. Stephen’s
All are welcome to attend Messy Church on Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 5:30-7 p.m., with interactive worship, fun crafts and games, and dinner for the family. Admission is free.
Adults age 50+ are welcome to attend Senior Activities Day, Wednesday, Nov. 7, in the fellowship hall.
Domino games begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a soup-and-sandwich lunch at 11:45 a.m. Love offerings are welcomed to help cover the cost of lunch.

Pancake breakfast at St. Matthew’s
The community is welcome to come and enjoy pancakes with all the trimmings at the free monthly pancake breakfast, from 8:30-10 a.m. Nov. 3.
The Lydia Circle will meet at 9 a.m., one hour earlier than usual due to the church’s Charge Conference, beginning at 10 a.m.
Internationally famous organist and choirmaster, George Mims, will be the guest organist for the All Saints Day Service at 10:17 a.m. Nov. 4.
St. Matthew’s will host a free post-Thanksgiving Dinner Nov. 23, from 11:30 a.m.-2 p.m., or whenever food runs out.

Impossible for Evolution at Northwest Church of Christ
A special youth devotional concerning the ideas of evolution and scientific proof that God exists, will be held at the Northwest Church of Christ, 6720 W. Tidwell at Bingle, from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 4. Dr. Benton Baugh, from Memorial Church of Christ, is the guest speaker.
Dr. Baugh’s 45-minute presentation will be followed by pizza and cokes. The target audience is teenagers, but all ages are welcome.

Vocations Exposition at St. Rose
St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 3600 Brinkman, will hold an Exposition of Religious Vocations to increase the level of understanding of what it is to serve God as Priests, Brothers and Sisters. Representatives of the various orders of the Galveston-Houston Archdiocese will be available on Sunday, Nov. 11, after the 8 a.m., 10 a.m., and noon masses to share the mission of their particular order.

All Saints TALC hosts annual Veterans Day celebration
All Saints Third Age Learning Center will host its annual Veterans Day Celebration Nov. 9, in the church parish hall. Festivities will begin at 10:30 a.m. with a Military Color Guard, music by Big Ed and the Happy Band, patriotic music, singing, refreshments and door prizes. All Veterans in attendance will be recognized and will receive a free hot lunch. Other attendees may purchase lunch for $2. Reservations are requested by Nov. 8.
A seminar on burial benefits for Veterans will be held 10:30-11:30 a.m. Nov. 7 by Tripp Carter of Bradshaw Carter Memorial and Funeral Home.
