Rosie Burr, 94, born Aug. 8, 1925, died May 3.
Brad Kubin Craig, 52, born June 30, 1967, died May 4. He graduated from Dulles High School in Stafford, and received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M, Suma Cum Laude, as well as his PHD in Economics in 2001. He is survived by his wife Brandy Bresenhan Craig, and mother Carolyn Kubin Craig, and sister Alison Blom.
Josephine Federico, 89, born Oct. 25, 1930, died May 8.
Josephine Alice Hosea, 88, born Sept. 18, 1931, died May 9. She is survived by her her son Thomas W. Hosea, daughter Linda Kelly, three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Marion L. James, 92, born March 28, 1928 in Rosehill, Texas, died MAY 8. She is survived by her daughters Wyvone Heath, Janet Stoppelberg and Georgetta C. James, and five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a great-great granddaugter.
Robert Eugene Kristynik, 87, born Sept. 22, 1932 in Galveston, died April 29. Kristynik graduated from St. Thomas High School. He had a long, successful career as an Auto Damage Appraiser with State Farm Insurance. Survivors include his wife JoAnne, sons Robert Jr., Joseph and Jeffrey, daughters Colleen Ann La Bean, Patricia Parr, Teresa Helsel, Denise Domain, Renee Weimer, step-daughters Cynthia Allen and Judith Hess, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ralph S. Marek, 95, died April 25. Marek was a true self-made businessman, whose partnership with his brothers covering 82 years built a great legacy for others to follow. He fostered a long term commitment to always do the right thing that extended beyond his family and his friends – it included his employees, clients, and suppliers. A man of strong faith, Ralph was always ready with a kind word, an open heart, and a willingness to help.
George David Plunkett, 67, born Jan. 30, 1953, died May 4.
Lawrence Jerome Sienkiewicz, 66, born June 8, 1953 in Milwaukee, died May 2. He worked for NASA, Minerals Management Service, Gulf Oil, Chevron, Unocal, DLB Oil and Gas, ExxonMobil, and completed his career with Extex Operating Services in Houston. He later earned a Master’s Degree in Geology from Louisiana State University, sponsored by Chevron Oil Company. He is survived by the love of his life, Aida Sulzbach, mother Corinne Sienkiewicz, brothers Steven Sienkiewicz and Darrick Sienkiewicz, sisters Lynette Brooks, Gwen Shilling and Lisa Keenan.
