Eva Mena Martinez, 88, born March 22, 1932, died July 27. She was married to Henry Martinez on Oct. 11, 1954. Martinez was employed in the oil and gas industry for more than 40 years as an executive assistant. She was an avid contributor and supporter of the Neuhaus Education Center for the Learning Disabled for five years. She is survived by her sisters Esther Bexar, Olivia Munoz, Virginia Garcia and Eloise Rodriguez; children Sylvia Garcia, Stefanie Fernandez, son Carlos Martinez, 11 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
Onecimo Ruiz, 86, born Feb. 16, 1934 in Nuevo León, Mexico, died July 31. Ruiz ran a successful auto-repair business for more than 30 years. He is survived by sons Robert Joe Ruiz, Manuel Ruiz, daughters Maria Helena Ruiz-Lopez and, Estela Ruiz, sisters Maria del Carmen Ruiz Bernal and Maria de los Angeles Ruiz Bernal, brother Vicente Ruiz, and five grandchildren. Jessica Lynn Ruiz (Granddaughter), Robert Joe Ruiz Jr. (Grandson), Liliana Cavazos and her husband Juan (Granddaughter), Alyssa Nicole Ruiz (Granddaughter), Austin Davis Ruiz (Grandson), Maria del Carmen Ruiz Bernal (Sister), Vicente Ruiz and his wife Margarita (Brother), Maria de los Angeles Ruiz Bernal (Sister), Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

He is survived by: his wife, Rosemary Saenz Soraiz; daughters Linda “Kathryn” Soraiz (Cameron Laird) and Reneé Soraiz (Stephen Hinze); grandchildren Ali ‘AR’ Ongun, Iliana Ongun Chatani, Caitlin Laird, Nadjezhda Laird, and Bryce Hinze; great grandchildren Ali Riza “Reese” Ongun Jr., Rowen Antonio Ongun, Leila Ongun Chatani, and Sofia Ongun Chatani.
