Totally agree with Jeff Przybyla’s “Reader Befuddled over election of School Board” article. This School Board is a definite waste of taxpayer money and education needs. It wasn’t even a week after the famous “Name Change” decision that misplaced several million tax dollars for a non-education political decision that the Leader had to publish an article asking that they had a shortfall and were asking for back pack and tennis shoes donations for the students. Such a farce at students expense. Voters do need to be responsible in researching and use their voting rights on all School Board elections. Thank you Mr. Przybyla.
Jeff Przybyla could not have been any more organized, lucid and spot-on with his analysis of our current school board and those of us who have allowed them to come to power. We all should be ashamed that the focus is not on our children’s future instead of unchangeable history. Wasting taxpayer money for anything other than our “future” is abhorrent. Fiscal/fiduciary responsibility is a lost term with this group. C’mon folks…let’s be better for our children!
Keep Memorial Park a jewel for us, not tourists
Golf tourism doesn’t necessarily mean more players. It can mean many more audience (gallery) members. And many large events at the park, such as art festivals, involve shuttles, not onsite parking.
Houston Open needs to be in Houston. It was held at Pine Forest too. Memorial Park would be a great venue.
What a well written article! It was touching and very moving. I could feel a strong bond of love between the two. This love, no doubt, translates to their patients resulting in great care.
What an inspirational story. Awesome job to these two beautiful ladies.
