Houston police have filed charges against a suspect wanted for her role in the Jan. 22 shooting of two men at the Kingswood Village Apartments.
Angelique Pina, 17, is charged with tampering/fabricating evidence in the 178th State District Court.
The victims, Alexis Villa-Gomez, 18, and Mark Anthony Raymundo, 18, were transported to area hospitals in stable condition.
According to a release from the Houston Police Department, patrol officers responded to a shooting call at 3233 Mangum Rd. about 10:45 p.m. Jan. 22. Upon arrival, they found both men shot in a breezeway of the apartment complex.
According to HPD, the victims said they were involved in an altercation with an unknown suspect who shot them and then fled the scene.
Further investigation identified Pina as a suspect, and she was subsequently charged for her involvement. A booking photo of Pina, who remains at large, was not available for release.
